Garden Design

After completing his level 3 in Garden Design in 2016 at Capel Manor College, London, Colin has gone on to undertake a number of completed, highly desirable, garden design projects to date.

Colin has such a passion to create beautiful spaces for his clients, and his dedication to create these beautiful spaces to a high standard, defines his passion.

From the initial consultation to discuss the elements of your garden and to build up a client brief, we will then go on to survey your garden and start to create an inventory and appraisal of your new garden.

Once we have completed this journey it is on to the creative side.

Starting with genius loci (“spirit of the place”) we will go on to discuss the six elements of garden design: Unity, simplicity, balance, scale and proportion, rhythm and repetition and focal points.

From these six elements, watching your existing garden take shape is an amazing transition and being presented with a hand drawn portfolio at the end of it all along with a visual mood board highlighting certain elements, completes the journey.

Colin’s passion is to aim to make a difference and through his drawings and creativity, he succeeds in making that difference.
