circular seating

Informal doesn’t come any better than circles. This circular seating area with a central fire pit oozes quality and when it is lit up in the evening, it really is a beautiful setting. This is not fully completed, but it is ready to be enjoyed.

Lighting is so important within garden design. After spending so much money on your garden, you will want to be able to see it in the winter months. This project is ongoing, but it has come on so much.

Walled Garden Design Cambridgeshire

In 2019 I was approached by a client wanting to change a disused space.

The client wanted an extremely informal garden and a circular grassed area. I supplied a garden design consisting of various circles which created the beautiful brick pathway and a feature central lawn.

Although the project is still not completed to date, progress is ongoing. We have planted some beautiful multi-stemmed Birch trees also and we are awaiting some planting plans.

I think this is going to be a beautiful space, once completed. A truly tranquil, quiet place.

Tree Preservation In Cambridgeshire

After sustaining some serious storm damage this veteran Cedar tree based in the Cambridgeshire area needed some serious Arboricultural help.
We removed the damaged branches (some huge limbs), and created coronet cuts to offer a natural look to the cuts, and to create diverse habitats for bats and insects. Once this was completed along with a crown thin, we supplied tonnes of compost to create a mulch underneath the tree to help increase its nutrient uptake to hopefully aid the longevity and overall health of this beautiful old veteran Cedar.

South London Design

After months of planning and organizing, we have finally finished a small garden design in South London. The client wanted a calming garden, low maintenance planting with a contemporary / modern feel to it. We assisted the client with a scaled drawing outlining the garden design. High quality materials were of importance. We developed a bespoke oak cantilever pergola and bespoke raised beds with cedar wood cladding. Planting was minimal yet repetitive and of an oriental feel.

First cantilever pergola completed

This was a first attempt for us to undertake a cantilever pergola. This is for a client in St Albans, Hertfordshire. It is a completely bespoke feature and was made from soft wood. The posts are Douglas Fir and are stunning. It will be great to see this when the client has painted it and when the paving has been completed. A very happy client and a very happy team.

2018 landscaping projects are well under way. This is an Oak pergola over a circular slate seating area.
The client asked for somewhere to sit in the late afternoon where the sun hits the garden. We undertook a complete garden design here which included hard and soft landscaping. This was undertaken in Cambridgeshire.

A completed project in Cambridgeshire, where the client asked for a bespoke, sleek, modern looking decking area.
Here we have designed a hardwood decked area, with raised planters, that have been clad with Cedar wood and a pure oak pergola. The planting has a calming oriental feel with down spot lighting to enhance the ambiance.
